Our story

A characterful building, run by people who pick up the phone.

21 The Grove is a flexible working facility in the heart of Ilkley: an award-winning Grade 2 listed building, refurbished with care and designed by local architects Halliday Clark. We built it for the people a conventional office doesn't serve: freelancers, remote workers and small businesses who want somewhere professional and characterful to work, without signing a long lease.

The space is run day-to-day by Ed Hoad and a small team who are, in one member's words, “keen to facilitate any request we have.” That is the whole idea: a premium desk or a superb board room when you need it, on terms that flex around you, with people on hand who actually know your name.
